PENENG BRIDGE






Popular as the third longest bridge in the world, Penang Bridge facilitates the link between Gelugor on the island of Penang to Seberang Prai on the Malay Peninsula. This bridge of Penang in Malaysia, which was opened to public transport in in1985, also leads to the North-South Expressway in Prai and Jelutong Expressway in Penang.   -  Since its operation, this bridge levies toll on the vehicles
  -  Malaysian Highway Authority was its first concession body. However, since 1993, the role was taken up by a private concession company, Penang Bridge Sdn Bhd.
